As part of our overall Sustainability goals, DuPont is committed to improving over 100 million lives through targeted social impact programs. At our Spruance site, we’re helping achieve that commitment through our efforts in the local community. Each year, we partner with a select group of organizations that are aligned with our key focus areas of: local impact, diversity, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and opportunities for employee involvement. 

On March 24, we held an event to announce and celebrate the 17 organizations that Spruance will be supporting in 2021 through a company contribution of nearly $130,000. According to Spruance Site Lead, Scott Bemis, "The Richmond area has a long history of generosity and working to help the community. And I'm very proud to be part of a company like DuPont, and specifically Spruance, who has also been a strong part of the community for many years." One of our partners added, “Thank you so much DuPont for making a difference in the lives of our children as we prepare them to be future leaders."
